We had a large pitch close to the pool (nr12). There was a lot of shade on our spot. The campsite was quiet, but we were daily bothered by the campsite next to us, a Yelloh Village campsite, until 23h00. Fun evenings were organized a few times a week. The highlight was the foam party (more than 1m high). It is a pity that it is difficult to find a place on the terrace, if something was organized. The pool was lovely and very well looked after. There were enough beds (in high season). The floor hurt to walk on because it was too rough. Unfortunately, the pool closed at 19:30. Way too early for high season. The campsite consists mainly of French people, a few Germans and 5% Dutch. Nice friendships developed among the Dutch youth. The toilets I believe are from the 1970's. There is no toilet paper available, and unfortunately no holder on which to hang my own paper. Fortunately there was a toilet seat, (because without a toilet seat I find it really dirty). Urinals were outside and showers were mixed. You can walk to Vias Plage from the campsite and the nice beach is a 4-minute walk (from the side gate). Unfortunately, rocks have been placed in the sea, which gave you the idea of being in a bay. Perhaps they could have poured concrete over it, so that you can walk on it properly. Perhaps we will come back to this nice campsite.

Mixed review really. The pool complex and restaurant are very nice although the pool is not suitable if you like to swim as it mainly involves groups of people standing around chatting. Getting around the site with a caravan is a challenge as there are lots of bends, narrow passages and badly parked cars as there simply isn't enough room. Despite booking months previously was allocated the "Brexit" pitch down an alley next to the staff quarters and dumping area which meant constant traffic from staff buggies and lots of dust. Think we were the only British on site which we normally prefer. Our pitch had a tree right in the middle and even with a motor mover it was extremely tricky. Nearby beach was great, love the Med you can put your chair right by the water's edge all day!

I will write the review in English although we are spanish campers. So... If possible, I would rate the camping with a 3,5. Some of the Cons are not an issue of the camping so let's go for the 4. anyway, I will try to do an extensive review. Pros: Location, 3-4 minutes walking to Vias beach. It's soo nice to be there even in the middle of August from 19:00. Not crowded at all. Walking distance from a seaside resort with a good selection of shops and restaurants. SwimmingPool, enough for the residents even though camping was 100% full. Sometimes there were no chances to get a chair, but in some minutes this could be solved due to high rotation. Campsite workers, excellent. I can't say enough good about the people working in reception, maintanance, bar, bakery, cleaning... Girls at the reception even speak spanish, which is TOP! One guy from maintanance made our day solving a big issue we had when we came in. He spent one hour at 30 degrees helping us. BRAVO. Shows, pretty good. Foam Party was excellent. The song quiz, although in French, quite funny for us foreigners. Other campers, pretty good again. Silence was held. No parties. Everyone respectful at night and even during the day no loud music or whatsoever. Let's say 90% French, 5% Dutch, 5% German with itailans, belgians and "us" scattered around the camping. Cons: Location. What? Location was perfect! Yes, but... lots of campsites around the area. While Helios Camping is a place to enjoy and rest, it seems campsites all around, (CAPFUN; YELLOH) Are on the VERY LOUDY SIDE of the entertainment. So... Depending on where your Emplacement is, expect loud music until midnight and so on. Due to this, people moving from and to the campings, can disturb you if your Emplacement or Mobile home is near the walkable road to the beach. Swimming Pool... but, hey, It was also perfect, right? Well, let's face the fact that we, as spaniards, are not used to wear the French Style shorts to get a bath. I understand it is compulsory. But hey, guys from the pool, It is also prohibite to bring balls to the pool, and I could see every day for 2 weeks people playing with big or small balls in any of the 2 pools (closed or open air). They would have no problem to occupy half the space of the pool (which is not big) with 2-3 guys playing "StupidPolo". This should be warned and prohibited. Emplacements.. Ok, good size, but I was dissapointed with the quality of the ground. Sandy and then rocky. We had like 4-5 days of strong wind and sand was all around as if we were in the middle of the beach. I really prefer grass grounds. Electricity... TERRIBLE. Now I have to say we had 6A, and for the first time in years we have not been able to cook normally with electric kitchen. Also AirCon forced the Power to break. Some day, we even had Power shortages for hours. the VERY NICE people from the camping told us it was because of the 6A... Sorry... I have been in many different campsites with 6A and while you can't use same time AirCon, Microwave and Cooker, you can cook something. this was not the case... Driving to our Emplacement was also kind of a nightmare with a big caravan (5 meter plus ) paths are tricky and not wide at all. The entrance is not wide at all. So you need skills, patience... Shower and Bath equipments. Very clean, but bringing your own WC is not the best option. Equipments need a renovation. And a small remark for spanish travellers... You and your kids might be alone there. I was expecting maybe 10-20% Spanish people but no... not in this Helios Camping. Maybe because of this people are quiet from 23:00h :) I won't be coming back, but It's a good option for Price in Summer, walkable beach 10/10, and french ambiance. Again, thanks to people in Reception and Maintanance. 11/10 !!!

very disappointed. despite the place has been promoted as a 4 stars camping, all the basics for such a place are missing. Interesting rules for the swim wear in the pool. swim shorts are forbidden . if you need wifi you have to pay a …

Some pitches are a bit small and access roads very tight for wide caravans. Friendly staff and the place clean and tidy
